Hormones And Acne – Why You Have To Eliminate The Link Between Hormones And Acne

by admin on 2009/05/26

There is a well known and well documented link between hormones and acne.  This is why typically teenagers, menstruating women, as well as pregnant women all tend to have acne breakouts. This is a common side effect of birth control and why it's effective at stopping breakouts; the pills regulate the hormones in a women.

For a lot of women this is great, but it seems the rest of us are out of luck? The connection between hormones and acne; what can we do about it?  Well it's actually much less complicated than you think.

Most importantly, stop treating acne symptoms. There is a clear link between hormones and acne so why do people keep using chemicals to try and treat their acne from the outside?  These treatments are only good at taking care of our acne symptoms...heck, usually they don't even do that!

Instead of buying expensive and wasteful chemicals, you have to treat your hormones and eliminate your acne naturally. When you begin to address the real acne causes, your body will begin to take care of your acne problems by itself.

Eliminating the link between hormones and acne isn't at all difficult or hard to do.  It is mostly caused by our lifestyle.Changing my diet was the most important thing for me.  Things like dairy, white sugar and white carb's all had to go as they either bring in to many outside hormones, in the case of dairy, or they cause our bodies to produce to many hormones, such as with sugar.

In either case, the link becomes quite clear.  Excess hormones from dairy or excess hormones from white sugar all cause our bodies to over produce sebum, or oil on our face. This is what those bacteria feed off of.  If we eliminate that link between our hormones and acne, the excess oil will stop being made and the bacteria on our faces will stop over producing.

By addressing this link between hormones and acne, you can quickly, naturally and cheaply solve all of your acne problems.  Stop trying to solve your acne problems by treating the symptoms.  Instead, use a holistic approach and eliminate that link between hormones and acne.
